As we step into 2026, it’s inspiring to look back at 2025, a year that marked significant growth, impact, and momentum for VeryPay. Our focus remained clear: to make digital payments accessible, reliable, and inclusive across African communities. The results speak to the collective effort of our teams, partners, and the communities we serve.

In Uganda, the Cashless Schools ecosystem continued to grow. Thousands of students across multiple schools were onboarded alongside several merchants, expanding access to safe and transparent payment systems. Each new school and merchant strengthened the local cashless infrastructure and allowed families to engage with digital solutions more confidently.

Senegal also saw important progress with the launch of Cashless Schools in collaboration with Orange Money. More than a thousand students across six schools joined the digital payment ecosystem, supported by a network of seven merchants. This initiative reflects VeryPay’s commitment to building scalable, community-driven solutions that make everyday financial interactions easier and more secure.

The impact of 2025 was also recognized externally, with VeryPay being named among the Top 10 fintech solutions at AFTS Accra. This recognition reflects the tangible outcomes of our work and the trust placed in us by partners and communities alike.

Looking Ahead

Looking ahead to 2026, our mission remains unchanged. We aim to expand our reach, deepen our partnerships, and ensure that more students, schools, merchants, and families benefit from a reliable, inclusive digital payment infrastructure. The progress of the past year motivates us to continue building solutions that are practical, scalable, and rooted in the needs of African communities.

To our partners, collaborators, and teams, thank you for your trust, dedication, and shared vision. Together, we are turning financial inclusion from an aspiration into a reality.
